Warehouse Supervisor
Peterlee
Quay plastics, a member of the multi million pound Epwin Group are recruiting a Depot Supervisor at their Peterlee Depot.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager you will illustrate sound knowledge of managing stock control functions, have a strong influence and ability to sell products & ensure the supervision and security of the depot is run effectively.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all stock items meet sales demands
- Managing cash, banking and payment schemes in accordance with company procedures and policies
- Liaising and utilising support from suppliers, merchandisers and other partners as required at all times observing authorisation levels set
- Reporting information on costs, sales and business performance
- Managing daily delivery and dispatch process and ensuring correct routing
- Liaising with the Depot Manager to ensure sales are achieved
- Inputting Invoices, Sales Orders and Credit notes are entered on to the system within a set time frame
- Taking full health and safety responsibilities for the Depot and adhering to legislation
Skills/Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
The successful candidate must be IT literate, have previous experience in a supervisory role and have the ability to work using their own initiative.
An up to date FLT license would be advantageous although not essential.
